RECOVERY MINISTRY AT MT. TABOR BAPTIST CHURCH
Finding hope and healing in Jesus
What is Recovery Ministry?
What We Do
Recovery Ministry at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church exists to help those struggling with their own sin, healing from sin done to them, or navigating the effects of living in a broken world to find hope and healing in Jesus. Recovery isn’t just for “those” people. It’s for all of us—a safe place where it’s okay to not be okay.
Whether you're struggling with pornography, grief, alcoholism, loss, drugs, apathy, depression, anxiety, self-image, anger, lust, the fear of others, chronic pain, hopelessness, abuse, shame, or anything else, you are welcome here.
Take the first step in finding hope and healing in Jesus by joining us at one of our weekly gatherings. During the first hour, we spend time together and hear a gospel-centered teaching or a personal story of gospel transformation before breaking off into small groups. In these groups, you’re invited to openly share about your sin, suffering, and victories in a safe, confidential environment.
In addition to our weekly gatherings, we host various studies and issue-specific groups throughout the year. We host a discipleship program called “Rhythms of Recovery” to help you learn how Christ brings hope and healing to your areas of struggle and suffering.
